Tastes from the Temple

Kitchen Witchery from the Temple of Witchcraft

by: Dawn Hunt

Kitchen Witchery from the Temple of Witchcraft by Dawn Hunt and the Temple of Witchcraft Community. Some of the earliest, most important, magick in our lives comes from food: the sights, sounds, scents—and especially—tastes of those kitchens from our childhood, cooking to feed our own loved ones, and food prepared and shared in community. The magickal lore of that “kitchen witchcraft” is preserved in time-honored recipes, handed down from generation to generation.

Tastes From the Temple presents some of the kitchen witchcraft of the Temple of Witchcraft community. Dawn Hunt, author of the Cucina Aurora Cookbook, gathers, organizes, and looks at the magical properties of these recipes, while offering many of the works of her own magickal kitchen. From main dishes to delightful desserts, luscious libations, and savory starters, Tastes From the Temple provides over a hundred recipes for your next potluck, Sabbat, or simply to serve to family and friends at home. It includes the magickal intentions of different foods as well as stories and history from the Temple community.

What’s more, Copper Cauldron Publishing is donating all profits from sales of Tastes From the Temple to support the Temple of Witchcraft, a 501(c)3 pagan nonprofit dedicated to furthering the Great Work of Witchcraft through education, community service, and celebration of pagan rites and traditions.
